The debut of the Singapore Youth League this year brings with it a wave of excitement and, understandably, quite a few questions. As parents too, we recognise your curiosity about the match format, competition structure, schedules, and more. Below, you'll find a wealth of information to start with, but rest assured, we'll keep this space updated with new details as soon as we receive them.
The Singapore Youth League (SYL), co-organised by the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) and Sport Singapore (SportSG), an initiative under the Unleash the Roar! (UTR!) national football project, is Singapore’s inaugural nation-wide elite youth football competition and is set to feature over 200 registered teams from 52 clubs and academies across various age groups.
The league will kick off on the weekend of 24 and 25 February 2024, with matches being played at various stadiums across the island.

18 Feb 2024 - Our boys displayed remarkable tenacity and strength in the recent U13 Young Eagles Junior League Championship match. Despite a challenging game, they battled fiercely until the final whistle. Although the scoreboard read 5-2 at full-time, it doesn’t fully capture the spirit and determination our team showed on the field. Great effort, boys! #allezgaulois

U13 Gaulois Intrepide… you boys turned a regular Sunday into an action-packed day of excitement and awe. Thank you for pouring your hearts out on that field!
4 Feb 2024 - We walked into the @singaporeindianassociation CNY U13 Futsal Tournament expecting to have a little fun and gain some experience but lo and behold, our young’uns together with their Coach Lyas fought their way to second place, beating 10 of the 16 teams in the tournament!
But wait! It gets better… presenting their medals and trophy to them was none other than the legend himself, @fandiahmadofficial — stoked would be putting it mildly.
You boys did brilliantly today. You displayed such spirit and camaraderie, it was beautiful to watch. Thank you!
Also, big props to our hosts, the Singapore Indian Association for organising this exciting tourney 🙏🏽
